The Lion is the King of the Jungle. He is a courageous warrior is the face of battle, and he is unyielding in the face of challenges. He represents courage, power and sovereignty. He is a totem for personal strength and will of the heart. He embraces passion and leadership. He is not afraid to face the dark alone; in fact his eyes are exceedingly capable of hunting at night because they 'let more light in'.
The Lion Energy is powerful. In light of the events this year that have affected everyone on the planet simultaneously, and all the changes that are taking place faster than we can keep pace; I felt an intense energy emerge: Lion Energy. From this incredible animal we can learn so many things. We are invited to embrace our own power and sovereignty, to stand strong in our own inner knowing and strength. He teaches us to open our eyes and 'let more light in' to become aware of our surroundings and to take heed of the actions therein. He reminds us of our own challenges, when we had to stand alone or move against the tide in order to find our inner Warrior; to stand for truth, justice and leadership.
