John's Portrait

Last Christmas of 2022 I had the honor and privilege of painting my brother-in-law's father after his passing the year before. Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to meet John in person, but I heard many wonderful things about him over the years. When I painted his portrait, his presence was definitely felt, as was his caring heart apparent while looking into his eyes; sensing his depth of spirit and love for life. John loved the beach and I could sense that would be his favorite choice to rest his heart and soul in the afterlife. May he forever hear the crashing waves and feel the sun on his skin. God Bless You, John. ❤️ You are forever in our hearts.
