Oil Cloud Painting on Canvas
I fell in love with painting clouds! 😍☁️ My last cloud painting was such an eye opener. I had no idea the amount of detail and subtlety clouds need in order to seem real. Their colours are very tricky because what you think a cloud should look like and the colours they actually emit are very different. They are striking in their high contrast of cool and warm colours that are so close in value that they pop! Like the aqua and dusty rose together.
I have so much to learn about cloud and landscape painting, and I am looking forward to all of it! I am in the process of painting some pics from our trips down to the US that I should be posting very soon! Vacation photos make great references! 👍
