The owl descends from the clouds to the Earth on an early morning. Crisp and fresh is the air that surrounds him. The sky drips with honey sweet lyrics of a New Dawn, written in the clouds.
For me, this painting symbolizes a new chapter of growth based on the wisdom of past experiences. The owl is willing to search his own shadows and take his Dark Night of the Soul to the deepest and most mysterious of places that reside within. When his journey through the Underworld is over, the light of the Sun will bless him with a new revival of strength and wisdom.
