My Original Artworks explore the many wrinkled pages that make up the novel of my interests, passions and personal experiences. I have a deep interest in metaphysics, science fiction, shamanism, and the mysteries of Life and the Universe. Having direct experience with the nature of existence is a core evolutionary right of passage, and it is through art that I find much of this connectivity to a realm that is beyond my human understanding. Instead, it appears first within my super-conscious mind, then onto canvas. Therefore, I have learned not to get in the way of the inspiration that I call my Muse; the unseen hand that directs the artist so that they may translate the Unknown to the Observed.

I find that I am still unsure of what my own art is communicating until it is done. I try very hard to just step aside and allow the visions to unfold without trying to change them. And in doing so, themes and archetypes appear.

'The Ancestor Series' has, so far, become a collection of Interdimensional Goddess Archetypes that have made themselves known through my art as supreme being concepts that display both human and non- human attributes.  The are prime manifestations of Universal Ideology and the Origin of Form. 'Mother Mnemosyne', for example,  was brought to life by a vision that I had years ago, sketched out and hiding in a book. Once she was brought to life with oil paint I was just starting to grasp what she was really about. Each orb on her head contain a Universe of Knowledge and Events. As they grow they disconnect from her skull and become the egg of a new Universe wherein all the Events and Knowledge gathered are unique unto itself having acquired all the information from Universes prior. A new equation for a new reality. Hense the name, 'Mother Mnemosyne' - Greek Goddess of Memory.

I feel that my job as an artist is to allow my skills to be used by the invisible hand of Intelligences beyond my comprehension to express themselves as they want to be seen. I am open to exploring new concepts and avenues that lay abandoned or yet undiscovered, as I am willing to re-examine ideas that need to be re-framed.
